Directions for taking Photos:

Take all photos in JPEG format (high resolution /300 dpi).

It is important that the eight postural photos are taken without moving the camera (you will need to mount your camera on a tripod).

Do not changethe distance between you and the camera (you will need assistance).

Make sure the camera is positioned so that your entire body is captured in each photo.

Wear only your underwear. This allows me to visualize key anatomical markings.ype your paragraph here.

Second Series of Photos

Directions for taking Photos:

These photos will help me to analyze how your present insoles are affecting your body and posture.

The photos must be high resolution with no shadowing effects. In large part, the results of this analysis will determine what is necessary in order to successfully complete your proprioceptive therapy.

For this reason, I suggest you use a professional photographer to take the following photos.

  • Your feet must always be in the same relative position to one another when taking the postural photos (Step 1 below).

  • To accomplish this, trace your insoles on a large piece of  cardboard or paper.  Then tape this cardboard or paper to the floor (hard floor, not carpeted).

  • Make sure your feet and insoles are within these tracings for all the postural photos.

  • Make sure the distance between you and the camera is exactly the same for all the postural photos

  • Use a solid green or blue backdrop when taking the photos.   Follow the directions below implicitly.  Do not omit a step.

Step 1 - Postural Photos 1-8

Frontal View, Photos 1-2

Photo 1 – Barefooted, 1st Series Insoles, No Socks

  1. Walk around the room for several minutes barefooted. This is very important. It prevents any possible carry over (engramming) from the insoles.
  2. Make sure the tracings on the cardboard/paper are facing straight ahead so that when you stand within the tracings, you are facing the camera.
  3. Place your 1st Series within the tracings on the floor and stand on top of the insoles (no shoes, no socks)
  4. Bend your knees slowly 5-6 times feeling your body's weight over the front part of your foot.
  5. Relax, take a deep breath, do not try to hold your posture
  6. Look straight ahead
